Hop, Hop, Hop

01 May

From the pond
hop hop hop
On the ground
hop hop hop
He’s the princely from whose never gone
hop hop hop

There beside
hop hop hop
Quick decide
hop hop hop
If he’s prince or merely just a frog

Til sun sets
By the roadside shall he be
There for a princess
With her hair of sunlit gold
He will wait
He will wait
hop hop hop!

And when the rain has fallen
The frogs will all be calling
Oh where
oh where
oh where
oh where
Oh tell us froggy prince oh where….

There he waits
hop hop hop
Far too late
hop hop hop
Will she never be ever coming round?
hop hop hop

Sky is dark
hop hop hop
Hear the lark
hop hop hop
Home again poor little princely from

Morning will come again
And your heart
Will be set free
Just you wait
Just you wait
hop hop hop!

Set, somewhat awkwardly, to the song from The King and I: Shall We Dance
