Hubby Is Home Tomorrow!

24 Apr

Richard will be arriving home tomorrow afternoon. Yippiee! I’ve really missed him this time around. The clocks just weren’t moving fast enough for my taste.

My weekend was fairly quiet. I called my brothers and mom and talked to each of them at length and worked on some cleaning around the house since mom will be here next week. That will be a lot of fun. The weather is looking good here, so we should be good for some of our trips out and about.

I got rather angry at myself tonight. I wanted to cook myself a stuffed pork chop; something I hadn’t tried before, and the kids next door lobbed a toy into our backyard. I got so distracted with them, and flustered, before I knew it, my kitchen and living room were full of smoke and my pork chop was a black piece of coal stuck to the pan. It didn’t get any better from there… with nothing else defrosted, I decided to order some delivery – chicken fingers – from a nearby pizzeria. I always order the mild, but they sent me the “fiery fiesta” chicken fingers. I nearly died when I bit into one. An hour later, they sent me the ones I ordered.

At least now it’s late, the dogs and cats are deep asleep, and I will be soon, too.

What are you looking forward to tomorrow?

  1. My hubby just had surgery. I look forward to him being pain free but I don’t see that happening tomorrow. I hope your hubby had a nice trip and made it home ok. :)

I am looking forward to teaching another music class to toddlers and moms, my favorite job, and having time away from my own toddler to write and practice. Thanks for asking.

My tomorrow is your today. Everybody will be off doing their own thing and I will be here….with the laundry. Yick. But the good thing is I won’t be carting people all over, trying to coax them into buying a new pair of tennis shoes (current ones are about 10 years old) or be woke up by doors opening and closing while I try to get my 15 minute afternoon nap.

    Come visit..it’ll be fun. ;)
