Mom’s here for one more day and then she’s back to Monterey, CA. It’s been a lot of fun having her here and her visits always make me wish she could move here.  There are three obstacles to that, though:

1. She has established customers for her pottery in Monterey
2. She’s patient to the best doctor she could ever have
3. She has Medi-cal and Medicaid is crap compared to Medi-cal.

Her housing would be transferable to several really nice places here, so it’s a temptation, but it won’t happen for awhile.
