It’s a pretty nice day. Clear outside and not oppressively hot. We had some super thunderstorms the last two days. Very spectacular. The rain came down so hard that it was hitting soft dirt and making divets. Our two front garden beds are all pockmarked.
We went to the movies yesterday and saw Poseidon: mini-review, it’s worth the price of admission.
We have a very neat little niche store here in Spokane down by the Riverpark Square Mall called Boo Radleys. It’s a place where Time stopped in the 60s and nothing is forbidden. They have odd toys (Corpse Bride figurine, Hellboy, gargoyles), funny and strange cards, and stationary. In the next few weeks, there are going to be some people that are going to get “star mail” soon. I can see them fainting at the curbside now. Sorry, can’t let you in on the joke just, yet.
Richard got a nice surprise today, a third day off. So we’re planning another day out tomorrow. Might be another movie. Hey! We’re such an exciting couple, ya know?
Tell me about a store in your neighborhood that’s cool to visit.
We go to the oriental market downtown… there are all these tiny 4 feet high older chinese women with little triangular chinese hats on and they pretty much go about their business in the market– you better not get in their way. I think in their culture — the older you get the more respect you get…
Good day. Blog Cafe? Am rather new at this. Be well. Stephen
