We went to see this latest Robin Williams movie today and I really didn’t care for it. As soon as the kid makes a phone call to Williams’ character, I knew just what was going to happen.
And, I’m sorry, but Williams makes for a creepy gay guy. Actually, it’s creepy enough thinking any woman wants to sleep with him but Bobby Cannavale and Robin Williams??? No way.
We should have gone to see Pirates of the Caribbean again.
never heard of it. he was creepy in that photo movie too.
I think Robin Williams has to pick his dramatic parts more carefully. In this movie he was supposed to be a sympathetic character, but to me he came off as too creepy.
Robin Williams just isn’t as good as he once was. I’m going to rent “RV” because that looks like fun – but he ventured into serious comedy. I love drama and serious comedy but there are certain actors that just don’t fit the character. Mork from Ork – is one of them. He should have just stuck with “goofy.”
Now Tom Hanks who started “goofy” had what it takes to venture into different characters. I admire that in him. He’s crossed the genre’s quite well.
