We’re off to the movies. The hubby has chosen GRINDHOUSE. Looks fun, but it’s 3 hours. I tend to get sleepy after two and half hours, so we’ll see if it can keep me awake.
Had a mild panic attack yesterday. My first in months. I was going into Supercuts to get my hair trimmed. There were about ten people, three hairdressers. Things were moving quickly and I settled back with a magazine. The longer I paged through the magazine (wasn’t really reading it) the more oppressive the atmosphere began to get. The back of my neck went clammy cold and my heartbeat was on the rise. When one of the hairdressers began to throw a hissy fit about his “stolen” scissors, I grabbed my coat, slung my purse on my shoulder, and headed outside.
The cool air calmed me down and I went to the bank where I saw Richard.
Now I’m wondering if I can go back to that same Supercuts and get my hair trimmed, or will I have to go someplace else. !!fume!!
Anyway, this is saturday. Whole new day, fresh drugs in my system, clean hair, clear eyes. . . and a crowded mall. Gah. To anyone who has ever suffered panic attacks, have you ever had panic attack hangovers?
Toodles!

I want to see grindhouse, too!
Oh yeah, I had that hangover feel.
I wouldn’t go back to that one. It probably wasn’t you, but the excess energy you were picking up from other people. If you don’t feel relaxed there, then you should leave. I don’t have panic attacks anymore. I found out what my triggers are through therapy, and I just stopped them. It was weird.
One thing he taught me, was to tighten all my muscles, and then relax them. And watch out for those “negative self thoughts” lol!
