Today we have a nice breeze to go along with the heat. It’s still early, though.
This mutt, my older dog Marcus, is acting weird today. Right now he’s sitting behind me, with his bone in between his paws, and growling intermittantly. We tried playing with him, letting him sit out back for an hour, brushing him and giving him an extra snack. Nothing’s making him stop.
He’s not being agressive. He’s wagging his tail everytime we pay attention to him.
Marcus is about seven maybe eight (strike that, he’s NINE) years old. For his mixed breed, that is middle-aged. He does pretty well, still tries to chase the furry bullet, Panda, but this year he’s really been showing his age. He can’t stand for very long, sleeps longer than he used to, and instead of looking for us when he wants attention, he barks at us to look for him. Everytime he does something out of the ordinary, I worry about him.
We’re going to see Transformers today. That was the hubby’s pick. Kind of surprised me. I thought he might pick the new Bruce Willis movie, but I’m glad he opted for this one.
