Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you, I think. It’s just Nablopomo around here, is all. That time of year when bloggers across the Blogosphere are rebelling against another November event that’s geared toward writing a novel in the space of a month. Nablopomo is a group entity of bloggers who want to have fun, to relax, build up their friendship lists, all while drinking their favorite beverages along with a few, indulgent snacks.
Could there be pressure in such a mundane passing of the time? Of course there is, damn you! I have to post EVERY! DAMN! DAY!!! This is a semi-daily journal, for Crispies sake! Semi-daily, means I don’t do it everyday, just when I feel like it. But, it’s that group mentality thing that’s infecting my brain right now. I want to do what all the big kids are doing. I want to have a big Friends list on my Nablopomo profile page. I want to buy a video camera so I can post videos of my plants wilting while I ignore them. I just want to be LOVED.
Okay. That was just pathetic and embarassing. Anyway, welcome to my blog for Nablopomo month where I will post every single day, even if it’s about how much litter I scooped from Claudius’ litter box.
