I have been tagged by Leaf of Leaf, probably…
I know I did one of these earlier this year, but damned if I can find it. Oh yeah, HERE it is. It’s getting tougher to pick through my memories for facts, much less strange or weird facts. Seeing as how I don’t want to make Leaf sad, I shall see what I can dredge up this time.
- I had one imaginary friend when I was a kid that wasn’t invisible. When we lived in “the apple orchard” there was a tall, telephone pole several feet from our house. I called the telephone pole, Mrs. Telephone Pole. I always visited her after school and told her about my day.
- I used to have very vivid and realistic hallucinations as a kid. To this day I’ve not told any medical professional about these. It’s because I’m not entirely sure they were hallucinations and until I know for certain, I’m not going to let a psychiatrist ruin the memory of these.
- From the time I began school as a child I’ve had vivid, lucid-type dreams of just about every type of death you can imagine. Some time in high school I realized that these kind of dreams increased with the number of friends I had. When I narrowed down the number of friends and acquaintances, I had less dreams. Since being withdrawn from physical society, the dreams have been very nearly non-existant.
- I can’t count back change. I failed doing so in a high school home economics class and failed to do so in several jobs.
- Except for anxiety and depression, I’m quite sane.
- I can’t think of anymore weird things. Is that enough?
As usual I’m supposed to tag people and usually I’m pretty lazy about that. However, since some folks need Nablopomo fodder, I’m going to tag all the friends I have at Nablopomo.
Eric – I’ve recently been hearing about other photographers watermarking or pulling their photos.

Dan – I think it’s very rare to come across someone who counts back change. When it does happen, they’re either my age or older.

Ack, I didn’t realize I had been tagged. I guess I should log into Ning more often. I suppose I shall have to think of some weird facts about myself now.

I’m always amused and a little sad whenever the cashier does something wrong and the cash register doesn’t tell them how much change to give and it takes them 5 minutes and me telling them how much change to give me back. I guess they don’t teach it in school anymore so you were just ahead of your time Jayne. :)
I don’t think you’re alone in the change department. I’m always very surprised when a sales person actually counts back my change to me instead of just handing me a fistful on change and bills.

Strange as this may sound, I’m kind of jealous of people who had imaginary friends as children. I never had one. When I look back, I feel like I was an unimaginative loser child.
And now it just seems crazy to have an imaginary adult friend, you know? Like, are the meds working correctly or do you still see Raphael?
