They’re so afraid of driving away potential voters that they won’t settle on a clear answer on anything. Makes it really hard to know who to vote for.

Well duh, their politicians … they’re not supposed to give straight answers. Yes or no is a straight answer.
At least it’s easy to tell when they are lying … their lips are moving. :)
