This is my latest creation with my new camera. Just a few artistic touch-ups in Paint Shop Pro and voila! I’ve made this into a postcard at Zazzle.
We celebrated our Thanksgiving on Friday. The spiral-cut, honey-glaze ham was wonderful. Richard made his specialty rolls and we just over-indulged. It was a nice day for relaxing. Of course, I braved the biting cold to take some black and white photographs for a contest I’ve entered. I wish I could enter the above creation, but it’s supposed to be black and white only with no digital processing. Ah well. So it goes.

Margaret – I bought a Panasonic DMC-FZ8K through eBay for a little under $300. I’ll send you the link if you’re interested. The seller charges a hefty shipping, but it was worth it to get the camera within two days.
Bev – thank you!
That’s a beautiful photo. Wonderful composition, texture, and color.

The photo almost looks black and white and it’s great because of the green leaf and blue of the dew drop. Nice shot.
What kind of camera did you get? Our Olympus was stolen during our home burglary and we’ll be trying to replace that eventually.
I bought a cheaper $110 digicam for now and the photos, zoom, lighting – the whole nine yards is YUK. But I needed something to get through the coming holidays.
