The popular Mystery Topic Challenge is on vacation over the holidays, but since we don’t want anyone to suffer withdrawal we’ve come up with a challenge that you squeeze in between visits with relatives, eggnog and mistletoe.

END OF THE YEAR HOLIDAY CHALLENGE

Subject: The End of 2007

You can approach this any way you wish. Take photographs, draw or paint a picture, write a poem, a short story, or a series of posts. It’s up to you to debate, discuss, or amuse yourselves over what the End of the Year means to you. Is it an illicit kiss under the mistletoe? Is it a foreboding of more headaches, worries in the coming year? Is it bittersweet memories? Or thoughts upon the months that have passed? Will you showcase favorite posts, photos, artwork? It’s up to you.

Number of Entries: At least one. If you’re very inspired write a dozen, or more.

Posting Time: Any day or night between now and January 6th.

When you’ve posted an entry, be sure to come back to this thread with the direct URL so everyone can visit.

Who Can Participate? Anyone and everyone. Guests and members are welcomed to participate in this challenge. The more the merrier.
