Merry After Christmas

26 Dec

Are you running out to beat down the crowd for that hot sale on oranguatan widgets? Or are you still stuck in the Lazy-Boy bloated from rich food, eggnog, and more Christmas cookies than you could ever have imagined?

Whatever it may be, I hope your Christmas was a good one.

We talked to our families, had a big Christmas lunch (of turkey, gravy, stuffing, homemade rolls, veggies) and took it easy. It began to snow again around 8pm and we now have a new carpet of snow sitting upon treacherous ice.

Our weather people have been saying that Spokane has gotten three times the amount of snow than December has had in the last five years. I know snow is tough for motorists, and it’s not so great for those of us that are stuck with public transport, but I really love the snow. It just cheers me up.

It’s kept me busy with my camera. I’ve taken a ton of photos, but there have only been a few keepers. I’m being more choosy about the photos I keep.

Snow Henge

This is part of the enclosure of stones that surround one of our gardens. I really liked its medieval quality. I call if “Snow Henge”.
