It’s Back!

No, it’s not Jack Nicholson from the Shining, it’s the SNOW!!

From KXLY.com:

SPOKANE — Glance at a calendar and it will tell you that spring has officially arrived, but look out the window and it’s clear that winter is still alive and well.

Despite local golf courses opening up Thursday and the prototypical spring holiday – Easter – just a few days away, heavy snow fell on the Inland Northwest overnight Thursday, then escalated in intensity Friday morning.

The last patch of snow from what we thought was the last snowfall had just melted away and the last of the plow drifts had been reduced to the size of nothing. Yesterday afternoon we had some hail, small, and it stayed on the ground for awhile. It finally melted away, but it was very cold outside and the wind was a bone-biter. Just before I took the dogs out (after 2am) the snow was coming down in big, heavy clumps. It hasn’t had a rest since then and it’s now 10am.

LOOK! A snow video!

If it is any consolation I will be spending many hours this weekend pulling out weeds that have grown into a jungle over a winter with no killing frost. I’d rather be doing something else.
