1. So Halloween is this weekend, if you haven’t heard. Are you gonna open your doors up or not? Not.

2. You better open ‘em cuz I’m coming… what are you putting in my treat bag? Nothing, but if you show up, I will be calling the police.

3. Since October is the bestest month for television (well for cable & dish subscribers it is) and there is a horror movie on at any given time of the day – are you sick of them yet? I have a remote control. That means I can change the channel to watch something worthwhile.

4. Which one of those movies can you watch over & over again? I can watch Addams Family over and over again. Same with Young Frankenstein.

5. Tell us about a Halloween scare you’ve had…. From the Sunday Stealing: Halloween Meme:

How about the Halloween when I helped dad out with a favor for a friend of his who was a funeral director? We drove in a green hearse to St. Louis, MO to pick up the body of a woman that had been run over by a steamroller. She was under a sheet, so I tried to forget about her. I was doing fine until dad turned on this late night radio station that was presenting stories about The Shadow. Good story, and I was quickly enthralled. HOWEVER…. right at the point where the narrator does this spooky, mad laugh, my dad had to hit the brakes because some idiot swerved in front of us. Dead lady’s gurney wasn’t attached properly and it sailed forward, knocking her skull into mine. I dove into the well under the glove compartment. Dad was laughing. I didn’t move from my spot until we got back home.

6. Did you watch the old Casper cartoons when you were a youngin? Well, back then they weren’t old I suppose, but I’m sure you still understand my question. Never watched the cartoons, but I did read the comics.

7. Have you ever found a four-leaf clover? I did. I was seven.

8. Haunted Houses… you know, the kinds you pay to get in and they chase you with chainsaws and severed heads…. do you like ‘em? I hate them. I don’t like the darkness or things jumping out at me, or even grabbing me. It makes me feel as though I’m blind and out of control.

9. Do you use cute cartoon type wrapping paper for Christmas presents or the not cutesy paper? Or are you one of those gift card and/or gift bag people? Nope.

10. How long do boiled eggs need to stay in the boiling water before they become hard boiled eggs? Beats me.

11. Jason is coming in through your front door… Freddy is coming through your back door… zombies are at every window of the house and Norman Bates is calling to invite you to dinner… what do you do? Tell Norman I’m coming to dinner, leave before Jason or Freddy or the zombies (which are slow, sluggish things) can get me and then move to a new neighborhood.

12. Did you know that the scariest part of Halloween is giving all of your Reeses Peanut Butter Cups away? Nobody gets my Reeses Peanut Butter Cups!

13a. If you were to play a part of a haunted house (not the ghosts in the attic kind), what would you want to be? Something scary, of course.

13b. Have you ever played a part in a haunted house? Yes. I was a swamp witch torturing a revenuer who trespassed on my land. I was the first thing the kids saw. If they were little, I didn’t scare them. If they were big, they got the whole screaming match. I couldn’t speak for three days since I trashed my voice.

14. If Thursday Thunks had a Halloween party, what do you think Kimber & Berleen would come dressed as? How about those spooky sisters from The Shining?

15. Do you cook a turkey for Thanksgiving? I don’t cook.

16. Have you ever read a book that scared the pants off of you? I wear dresses, not pants, so that never happened.

17. Whats the predicted high temperature for today? 39F. Are you running out of questions to ask?

18. Have you ever howled at the moon? Nope. I’m not a werewolf.

19.You are in an alley and a werewolf and a vampire are coming at you – one of them has to win. Which one do you want to bite you?
