I personally don’t find anything wrong with that. I always wear a crucifix necklace, even if I am not really big on my religion (non-practicing Catholic).
But sadly, there are people who don’t like what we are doing. I may be bursting some bubble here, but not everyone is open or liberal about this kind of issue regarding religion.

Seriously, who has any right to tell you what you can or cannot hang in your house? My dad was a brother in a monastery and I have his rosary which I keep right on my prayer table along with my other items of sentimental value. FEH to those haters!

Your relationship with the divine (or lack thereof) is of no importance or relevance to another and I have no hesitation in telling anyone that. I have an evangelical cousin who thinks I am doing satan’s work. I’m all “whatever, sister” and I keep moving on. She can seriously bite me. (Can you tell I get all worked up over this?)

Anyway, I love that picture – it has beautiful and peaceful energy.
