It seems I will need to start taking naps.
For two months now I have been only getting five hours of sleep a night. I think it may have something to do with my insomnia, but I’m not sure. My doc gave me Lunesta for a week, but once I had my week of 7 hours of sleep a night I was back to 5 hours.
So, I crashed this weekend. Not a good thing since I get all weepy and my nerves get tight – two triggers for panic attacks and that’s the last thing I need.
My husband says if I can’t get more than 5 hours at a time, then I just ought to quit being stubborn about it and take a nap in the afternoon. I did that today and although I had some weird dreams (our neighbor gave us his kids!! eek!) and I was a bit disoriented when I woke, but a little later I had eight wakeful hours with no yawning.
Not bad.
