Love Is A Four-Legged Word

10 Sep

If you love cats, dogs, and animals in general, you need to spend some time at Love is A Four-Legged Word. It’s a treasure. I think I Stumbled across the site, but am not sure. I know I stayed for a bit when I read this article, A Pet’s Ten Commandments.

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.
2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.
3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.

Click the link above to read the rest of the commandments. Be sure to subscribe to the feed. It’s worth it.

Stinkypaws runs the site and is looking for photos and stories about folks furry kids. I submitted a few short words about my beloved Mimi. I’ll post that link when it’s up. For now, though, you can read the little photograph essay I did called Mimi’s Story.

Look! She Changed Her Theme!

I did, I did, I did! I also downloaded a spitload of other themes to dabble with.

I still love Shifter, but I needed something different for a bit. Also, it’s possible that anyone coming here might just be too damn tired of seeing Snape. I’m not, but it’s good to change things up.

So, other than messing with your theme, what else has been going on in your life?

Uhm, well. It’s that health thing again. Either a muscle spasm or nerve pain is doing it’s best to drive me mad. To the point of three times in this month I was headed to the ER. That, of course, led to a bunch of follow up appointments and a lifesaver called Flexiril. That seems to be taking care of the pain, but I’m still bothered by panic attacks, or mania that has my hands shaking. The hand shaking tends to calm down towards the afternoon, but it’s frustrating when things I never thought about are near impossible to do because my hand is trembling too much.

At least I can still handle a mouse.

This originated in a fascinating abstract program called Bomono. I then brought it in Photo Essentials 4 and it became an illustration. Lastly, into paint shop pro for the frame.
