Have You Glogged Yet?

24 Jan

All I need is another diversion, but this is quite fun. Check out Glogster. I’ve done two, now. One for myself and one for my brother. This is mine. They are running a contest for an iPod, of which I have no interest in. I do like making glogs, though.

Glog Thing

Hubby is feeling better and has decided to brave the cold this evening and go to work. Of course, I now have his sore throat. I’m drinking my orange juice because I am NOT going to get the flu again.

Stupid Flu

23 Jan

Hubby is sick. I was worried about him when he told me that his brother’s 3-year old stepdaughter was going to be staying the weekend with them. Like his brother, Richard has no immunity against kid germs. Since Richard’s brother was married, he’s had the flu twice and a number of colds; all courtesy of the stepkid. He wasn’t prepared for that.

So, Richard managed to bring home some kid germs and of course they just exploded inside him. Ewww, what a visual. I’m eating oranges and doubling up on my vitamins. I don’t have any more immunity than he does and I just got over the flu. I don’t want a repeat performance.

Off to get him another blanket. Stay healthy, folks!

All By Myself

Hubby headed off to San Jose today to visit his mother, brother and new sister-in-law. I already miss him, but I also slept a good portion of the day. I am feeling much better, though, and I hope I can get myself out for a short shopping trip just a few blocks from home.

Is anyone watching Celebrity Apprentice? I’ve watched a couple of episodes just to see how Gene Simmons would do. He is an extremely arrogant nitwit.

Sunday is posting day for the Mystery Topic Challenge #6. If you’re participating, get writing. I’ve been mulling over some ideas with my Super Ninjas and hopefully we’ll have a few wrinkles ironed out soon.

I think my mind is a little in spin mode. It’s been asleep for a couple of days, so now it’s waking up and my thoughts are going everywhere. I think I’ll stop before I get too scattered.

I Have Been Here Before

I am seeking a question.
