When was the last time you cried?

Approximately three weeks ago. You know. All that pain crap I was going through?

What made you angry this week?

When my husband said he was “appalled” at me. I’m not such a great housekeeper, especially when it comes to bathrooms. My handy excuse is that I cleaned upwards of twenty bathrooms a day for nearly fourteen years at various hotels. This also included, at one time, a spa bathroom, and a ladies and a mens bathroom. You might think mens rooms are worse? No way, womens rooms are.

Oh. Back to the husband. I’m on such a nice, big dose of anti-anxiety meds that instead of biting his head off, I agreed, for once, with him. Made the rest of the day quite pleasant.

What was the happiest day of your life?

Wedding day. Signing the papers on our first house and mortgage. Signing the papers on a new house here in Spokane that is totally owned by us. No mortgage, dude!

Have you ever laughed until you cried?

Yeah, but not in a long while.

Have you ever laughed so hard you peed your pants?

I’m not sayin’.

Have you ever been suspicious of someone?

Who told you? I’m suspicious and paranoid to the hilt. At least I’m not a conspiracy theorist. I’d need counseling.

What was the last thing you envied?

Having a friend that lives nearby. (Marlene, Cindy – Spokane’s real nice — hint, hint!)

Are you sarcastic?

I don’t have a snarky bone in my body.

Have you ever had your heart broken?

Once. A few months later, I met my husband, so it was worth it.

What is the last thing that disgusted you?

Seeing a live lobster cooked. Ghastly.

Have you ever been truly afraid because of a scary movie?

I was afraid of the wicked witch in Oz. I didn’t believe Dorothy really killed her. The Grinch was next because after the movie, dad kept saying the Grinch was going to come to our house. Our great dane slept with me that night.

What is you biggest regret?

That I was an impatient student when it came to drawing people.

Have you ever had an obsession?

Me? *stares at Snape photo in sidebar* Never. I don’t obsess over anything.

Do you feel pity for others who have less than you?

No. Having stuff isn’t the measure of a good life. You can have nothing and be more well off than Donal Trump is.

What is your biggest fear?

A flare up of the pain I’ve been dealing with on my left side.

What was the last lie you told?

Not really sure. As one who was caught (spectacularly) in a lie that ran wild, I don’t lie anymore.

Have you ever cheated in a game among friends?

Yes. I always cheat in games which is why, when I lived near friends, they didn’t like playing with me. I still cheat on video games.

Who was the last person you flirted with?

The guy downstairs in the man-cave.

Have you ever seen an image that made you physically ill?

Most of the shows my husband watches make me pretty ill.

What’s that you say???

An appointment was set up for me by my doctor’s nurse. When I asked what it was for, I was told she was a pharmaceutical consultant.

Appointment was yesterday (87 degrees outside). I hate going downtown to the clinic. I hate it even more when the weather is intolerable. Finally I got there and learn that she’s NOT a pharmaceutical consultant as I was led to believe. She was a PSYCHIATRIST. My new mental health advocate.

the solution by *DameDesReves on deviantART

I don’t mind having a mental health advocate. What I find annoying is when we’re talking about my panic attacks (which are decreasing, thank the Flying Sphaghetti Monster!) she’s suggesting these old “tried and true” solutions to stopping my panic attacks. I then informed her that I’ve had these since I was FOURTEEN. I know a lot of ways to stop the panic attacks, and some of them work.

What no one seems to understand is that this pain spasm that I have on my left side is triggering the panic attacks. I cannot say this enough: when I get a twinge of pain on my left side, at the very same moment it GRABS my fear. My usual tricks to stop or calm the panic, doesn’t work.

My panic meds ARE working, but they’re not flawless. I can deal with that.

I can’t stand the fact that I basically paid for someone to tell me to “breathe normally” to calm the panic.
