My brother, Jack, just rediscovered this gem and uploaded it to YouTube. Read about its origins at Jack’s site.
Welcome to the Carnival

Here’s some nice, polite questions that don’t require a lot of thought. Grab your indulgent drink, and join me in Sunday Stealing.
1. What are your current obsessions?
Writing Harry Potter fan fiction. It’s a happy disease.
2. Which item from your wardrobe do you wear most often?
A long, patchwork dress from India. My favourite store is HolyClothing.com at eBay and Lotus in the Moonlight, also at eBay.
3. What’s for dinner?
Panda @ River Park Square. Orange Chicken, Sweet n Sour Pork with steamed rice for me, and the husband went with the steamed rice with Kung Pao Chicken, Green Beans n Beef and something with hot peppers.
4. Last thing you bought?
Disposable Brita Water Filtration Faucet – This is my second one. It works nicely.
5. What are you listening to?
Mission Hill by Pribek
6. If you were a god/goddess who would you be?
Persephone – I’ve eaten the pomegranate and I found bliss in Hades.
7. Favorite holiday spots?
Living Room or husband’s Man Cave. I don’t go anywhere. Flying in a plane is sheer madness and I don’t drive. What a life, eh?
8. Reading right now?
The Meaning of Night by Michael Cox, Small Favor by Jim Butcher, Oddest Jobs A Collection of Hellboy stories by various writers.
9. 4 words to describe yourself.
Withdrawn. Thoughtful. Insomniac. Medicated. I hate trying to describe myself in a limited number of words because it’s not possible for the four words to be accurate all the time.
10. Guilty pleasure?
Bakery goods. Love ‘em, don’t need ‘em.
11. Who or what makes you laugh until you’re weak?
Husband.
12. Planning to travel to next?
Kitchen. I need a glass of water.
13. Best thing you ate or drank lately?
A cream puff and White Chocolate Raspberry Cafe D’Vita.
14. When did you last get tipsy?
When I was 29.
15. Care to share some wisdom?
Be excellent to each other!
16. Nicest thing anyone’s ever said to you?
That I’m a work of art.
I am still, pleasantly astonished by the number of people visiting. Especially since I’ve been so terribly neglectful over here. What can I say but that I am enjoying my silly writing of fan fiction and original stories (yes, I am still writing original stories!).
Anyway, I just wanted to call attention to two widgets in my sidebar—-> Right over there, the narrow one. See it? Good.
You’ve read my posts before about my brother, Jack. He’s an accomplished guitarist, composer, musician, and even somewhat of a Renaissance Man. He’s bloody smart, he is.
Jack is also living with, and coping with all the side effects (physical and financial) of Multiple Sclerosis. Physically, he is doing quite well. It bugs his hands at times, but as long as he can play his music, it’s a good thing.
Multiple Sclerosis, though, doesn’t come cheaply, and as everyone knows, if you aren’t covered by decent insurance, you’re always scrambling trying to figure out how to pay the next bill: not just medical bills, but simple things like rent, or gas for your car, or hey! Groceries.
My husband and I help where we can, but I’d like to ask for your help, too. If you’re not fond of donating, then why not treat yourself to some really great music and purchase Jack’s CD of Trouble Ain’t Over. He’s good, and I’m not saying that because I’m his big sister. There’s other people that not only think he’s good, but KNOW he’s good.
Also, why don’t you go and visit Jack’s site. He does write about music, a lot, but he also talks about the news, strange and otherwise, he highlights great videos of music you’ve either never heard, or forgot about, and he also has a few words to say about baseball and Hugo Chavez. A bit for all.
I thank you for your time, folks. You’re all good!
I am seeking a question.
