I tried to mess around and change my theme, but what I have is still the best.

The snow is still melting, but now we seem to be socked in by fog. Fog’s all right. Generally, though, it means that more snow might be on the way.

Last weekend we managed to get out to see a movie. We usually try to go see one once a week, but there have been several weeks in which there’s been NOTHING. I had no plans, at the time, to go and see the next Harry Potter movie (considering the fact I can’t even remember seeing the one before it!) but had it been playing, I would have gone ONLY because there was nothing else!

Hah! Was that a long sentence or what?!

Anyway, snow and lack of a good movie choice, kept us at home until last week we had enough sunshine and snow melt to go out. Even so, I still slipped on some bloody ice. That aside, we went to see Valkyrie.

I haven’t read many good reviews on this movie, and it seems there are plenty of critics who’d rather wax trashy about nitwit Tom Cruise then to talk about the movie.

I don’t like Tom Cruise, as a general person. I think he’s a nitwit. However, as an actor, he’s GOOD. I’ve pretty much liked most of his movies. He does a very good job in Valkyrie and it’s a very worthy movie.

As far as great acting went in the movie, Bill Nighy was FANTASTIC! Cruise usually is a scene stealer, but Nighy owned every scene he was in. Go Nighy!

Well, anyway, great movie, bittersweet, but worth the money, so go and check it out.
